What you are saying is very true. Just the other day i was reading Men’s Straighttalk by Dr. James Dobson and i agreed with him, that we are living in an evil spirit infested world which we and our children are part. The fact is that we can not do anything about it expect for praying in truth for all ourselves. Jesus told his disciples that he was going to leave them in the wilderness and he won’t pray for them to be taken out of it but he prays for the Father to be with them likewise we only need to pray for His protection.

I really appreciate the thoughts in this article and I have the same thoughts as you do. We are certainly living in a different and difficult world especially as we relate to the youths of today. It is my impression that we have become loose and slack in the upbringing of our children today. The Bible tells us that we are to grow them in the admonision of the Lord but we have in my estimation lost touch with a whole generation. As Christians we must not allow this to continue. We also need to let our secular and spiritual leaders be aware that they are to be good stewards of the word and the governance that isplaced on them. God has given us the wherewithal and we need to use them in the way we grow our children and not only ours but our neighbors also.

I agree with you we do live in tough world. As a child of GOD we must know that even though it is tough we have a greater strength inside of us that we can relly on. But we have to get to the point that we believe and trust in. We have to GET UP AND DO. LOVE.

It is very true that we as parents need to be careful and concern with our children lives as they grow.It is our responsiblity to teach about God that is why we were blessed with their precious lives. From they are born we can sing wholesome christian songs along with their nursery rhymes and they will grow with these songs until they understand as they get older. We also need to let our children know who God is , simply things like he is the one who gives us life or the one who wakes us up in the morning. Basically if we do not teach them about God we are at fault. thanks for sharing this with me

Parents should stay involved in there childs lives. Parents these days don’t want a child winning, crying or fighting so they’ll just shoe them away without listening to them and helping them understand why thing are the way they are. If someone would tell them a story about what happened to them when they were that age or just show them interest this lets them know someone cares. As long as someone is always there for them to show them the right way they’re good for life.

In your blog you mentioned that kids are growing up much faster today, and that they are exposed to much more wordly things in more ways than the previous generations. It is so true-our society has become so fast paced and so indifferent. We are all exposed to so much information overload, and temptations. We all need to guard our heats and our minds in Christ Jesus.
For our kids and for everyone, we need to follow the following instructions from GOD’S WORD:
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost
which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body,
and in your spirit, which are God’s.
1 Corinthians 6:19
Please share this scripture, and all of GOD”S WORD with as many people as you can-because there are many, many people out in the world who are living in darkness, and they need the light of GOD”S WORD to expose the darkness and sin-They need JESUS, and GOD”S WORD to step into the Marvelous light-out of darkness, and out of shame. Our kids, and all people need to know that JESUS is the truth, the life, and the way…..

I want you to know that it is extremely hard to lose a child to drugs or additions. A parent feels helpless when the child is an adult and chooses the wrong thing. It could be a first time or not. Within a split second you whole life changes not knowing what you could have done to change it or if you could have. You then hang on to Jesus and the word of God. Knowing of the heavenly place where we will reunit bring some comfort. It is hard to know when a child is in trouble. Prayer is always needed for all families in the troubled times we live in. i know times have changed but i think parents have such a big role to play.you cant be with your kids always but hen you are together teach them good morales because believe you me what my parents taught me at a young age is what i follow today.lets not be quick to blame technology and so on. if you really look at it parents are SO FOCUSED ON MAKIN MORE MONEY AND THEY FORGET ABOUT THE KIDS.SO EVERYONE IS TO BLAME WHEN YOU LEAVE THE T.V TO RAISE YOUR LITTLE ONES.I THINK IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO COMMIT OUR KIDS TO GOD FOR HIM TO BE THE ULTIMATE LEADER

hey willie here,i have a 14 year old daughter who attends a christian school,but lately has been in trouble with other kids there,the thing is i know that jasmine is a good kid,and is not easilly mis’led by others or at least i thought so?i tell her that,she should know not to follow others into wrong doing,or to not be like or the other kids,by all means have fun,but think about it before you get involved.
