Sometimes there is nothing better than to
sit back, relax and listen to music
that strengthen and inspire my body and soul.

I am extremely interested in new music and
breakthrough artists, so I was really excited
when I came across these songs. I really
wanted to share them with you.

It can cost $20 and up to buy these albums
from the record stores so being the frugal
guy I am, I browsed around online to see if
I could find the albums that contained the
songs I liked for a decent price.I always seem
to have pretty good luck with Ebay and this
time was no exception.I found some great deals!

Originally I was drawn to only one or two songs from
each of the albums (you know how that can be).
The dilemma of… should I buy the entire album
for this one good song?

Don’t worry, it turns out these are fantastic albums,
and have many good songs.They are also very
highly rated, popular and reasonably
priced. I wouldn’t be suprised if you
have heard theses songs or are familiar with
the bands, they all have awesome reputations. I am
sending along the names of the songs I loved,

The reason why I am writing is because I have been re-inspired
and I want to share my thoughts with friends who can appreciate
and benefit from my positive energy!

First off I want to thank you for being the kind of person
you are. In the past I have touched on quite a few subjects,
From Christian music to Overcoming difficult obstacles in our
lives by embracing our Spirituality.

I have received so many fantastic responses from smart and
loving people that I feel honored to be connected to a
network of Christians all over the world! I just want to
express my gratitude for you being a simply wonderful friend
in Christ.

What I really wanted to share with you is a recent event
that happened to me and how my faith in God and in myself
turned bad to good.

The fact is that in out busy and stressful lives its common
that we forget to give our thanks to God for all the blessings
we already been given. It seems that lately for me all I have
been able to focus on arethe worries and negativity in my life.

I worry about the slowing economy, The high cost of EVERYTHING,
relationship hardships, heath issues,job securities.
Pretty much if you can name it, I worry about it.
I know that its normal to be concerned and conscious of issues
in our lives but I was getting to the point of getting really
anxious about what was going to happen and getting depressed
because I felt like there was no way for me to control it.

For an example, I was invited to a family friends wedding
last month, honestly I haven’t been to many weddings so the
appropriate gift and apparel were pretty unknown to me.

Not to mention that I have been pretty low on cash and I really
wanted to give a nice present to the couple to express my best
regards for them. Unfortunately their wedding registry could
have been mistaken for that of the Duke and Duchess Of Buckingham,
I kid you not, these gifts were astronomically expensive!

After much stressing and beating myself up over my inability to
purchase a platinum encrusted serving platter, I decided to pray
about it. I asked God to guide me to wisdom, help me find my
confidence and hopefully an the alternative to the spending of a
small fortune. I didn’t feel significantly better until later
that night a light just clicked on in my mind.

I remembered 6 months earlier I had stayed at the couple’s
home while in town for business.The Guest room had been
occupied so I Just crashed on a very comfy couch in the living room.
I was very comfortable besides the old scratchy wool blanket I had
to sleep with.

The Bride to be had apologized numerous times that they had
no extra guest blankets except for old scratchy…

I had it! There were no blankets on the registry, so
I picked out two beautiful quilts that I thought suited
their style. It turns out they had totally forgotten about
their blanket situation and were so grateful and flattered
at my thoughtfulness.

I believe that stress can cloud our judgment and panic does
nothing but damage us and block us from getting peace and
grace that we can receive through prayer and contemplation.
I believe,my story is an example of a little life miracle.

I am very excited to be back in contact with you and I want
to share so many more Happy, touching, hilarious and sentimental
stories with you so that you can feel inspired to do the same
for me!

Forgiveness is what God gave to the human race when we were too blind to see his glory here on earth. He was wise enough to see above selfish pain, grudges or
vengence and He gave us a glorious example of the love and forgiveness.
When someoneone is wronged or betrayed, they suffer emotional wounds which can give feelings such as anger, guilt, rage, resentment, or shame. Forgiving a wrong or betrayal is a process of emotional healing where such painful feelings are worked
through and ultimately resolved. Forgiving for the sake of our own inner healing and well being is important. forgiveness is beautiful.

Forgiving happens inside the person who does it. Forgiving welcomes but does not depend upon the apology of the the one who you have been injured by.

We can forgive in our hearts before we ever say the words “I forgive.” it does not matter if you choose to express forgiveness directly to the one who has injured
you,because you will feel it deeply either way.Give it a try, forgive someone who has wronged you or forgive yourself for the wrong you have done.

Some of the most beautiful relationships and moments are born of forgiveness and after all we are all just human beings who sin and and make mistakes.

Suddenly the issues of sex and boundaries starts to arise, and teens find themselves having to choose sides on “hot button” topics like homosexuality and abortion. There is a lot of growing to do in all aspects of relationships, and having Biblical and Christian guidance is essential.

Its is very important for these young adults to find their own way to fit in with their peers while still keeping their morals, faith and self respect. I like to stay up on all the new styles of Christian music that appeal to our younger generation. I feel amazing when I can listen and respect these new christian artists and appreciate their music and relate to todays christian teens.

Whether you are a parent, grandparent, family member, friend…..open your mind and heart to these new albums and share it with a young person in your life and really make an impression. It is very possible you will fall in love with these new artists yourself and be opened to a new style and hip beat

Most average people look at 2007 as another year following 2006 and flowing steadily into 2008.That is a rather logical way to see time but unfortunatly will not give you the inspirational lift that can be found in symbolism. 2007 is symbolic of fresh new grass, without memory of past mistakes, soaked and dripping in the possibilities that an individual can create!

The new year can hold in its 365 days anything and everthing you have dreamed of. This year is one for new experiences, friendships, adventures and spirituality, leaving old baggage behind, forgiving and forgetting, building confidence, strengthing your body and faith, loving unconditionally, and anything else that you have always wanted but never obtained. Whatever your New Year’s resolution is, may it bring you joy and give you appreciation for the beauty of each day we walk on this earth.

This year I thought many times about suitable resolutions. There is always the famed “lose weight” resolution, or the equally overused “make more money”. These are both fine and practical resolutions that have their own allure but I realized that I needed something incredible and inspiring this year. I thought of many possible idea’s but none of them packed the emotional punch I was looking for.

Then as I sat there despairingly, it came to me…..
My New Years resolution is to marvel,envelope,surround and even wallow in the beauty of life and nature. I know it sounds strange or even silly, but listen, I will for the next year of my life make a concious effort to appreciate and find spiritual gratification from the simple and beautiful interworkings of each blessed day!

So I respectfully challenge you to find your own resolution that gives you the deepest feelings of empowerment and contentment. Please open yourself to something of importance that may have been hidden by other daily tasks and needs. I truly hope that my excitement is contageous to you and I am curious to find out what you have chosen to resolve this year.

Even though I hug my blanket and moan when the alarm rings, I am so thankful, that I can hear. There are many who are deaf.

Even though I keep my eyes closed against the bright morning light as long as possible, I am so thankful that I can see. Many are blind.

Even though I huddle in my bed and and wait until the last minute to rise, I am so thankful, that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are bedridden.

Even though the first hour of my day is sometimes wild and hectic, when socks are lost, Breakfast is burned and tempers are short, I am so thankful, I have someone who loves me. There are many who are lonely.

Even though my breakfast table might never look like the pictures in magazines and the menu is sometimes less than gourmet,I am so thankful for the food I have. There are many who are hungry.

Even though the routine of my life seems monotonous, I am so thankful, for the opportunity to work. There are many who can not find a job.

Even though I grumble and complain of my fate at times and wish my circumstances were not so modest, I am truly thankful, for life.

This is how I felt this morning when I woke up and I looked around and realized that my life is a gift, we can always wish for more, but happiness lives when we appreciate and
are proud of who we are and what we have.

I am not a millionaire or a famous celebrity.

I have problems and heartaches and moments of insanity.

I also have a roof over my head, clothes on my back and at least one person on this earth that cares for me. I am so thankful, and it feels wondeful!

Take a moment today to count your blessings and give thanks for what you have overlooked. I know that someone has made my life possible and today I give thanks to Him.

I have been asked by more than a few people about what is new and exciting in Gospel music. Well new or old I can tell you it is all exciting to me. I really just love Gospel.
All that soul and beautiful voices lifted to his praise, it’s hard not to clap your hands and shuffle your feet!

Our minds are hungry for knowledge and we are calmed and soothed by the teachings of the bible.
It is as if we can read its passages and see beforeus where we have come from and ultimitly where we are headed.

Yesterday as I was prepairing for another long week, I felt that familiar tightness in my neck and those anxious butterflies in my belly. I would recognize those symptoms anywhere, it was the beginnings of stress. Its like a constant battle for most people trying to keep the peace and also juggle hectic lives.
I tried everything I could think of to calm my mind and body.

I still felt tense as if I could just explode from nervous energy, it was strange to say the least.

I sat on the couch and tapped my fingers then I saw my MP3 player (Which I got on eBay at a bargain) laying on the counter. I put on the head phones and started listening to some great christian tunes and suddenly I was inspired! To do what, I didnt know. I searched around the house while the music played in my ears and before I realized it I was out the front door jogging down my street and feeling fantastic!

After my run I came back home with a feeling of sheer exaustion, which soon melted into complete pleasure. The pain in my neck gone, the butterflies in my belly nowhere to be found. I was stress free!

It is easy to be so absorbed with our thoughts and troubles that we forget to take care of our mind and body. There is a way to gather strenth and encouragement from Him for both. I made a small list of some of the songs i listened to on my jog yesterday. Give them a try or make your own list and give you body and mind the release it needs!

But, that’s not the way life is lived. In fact, I suppose you have to make the mistakes to gain the knowledge. And we all have made our share of mistakes. Without a doubt, there have been many times in my life when things just didn’t turn out right. During some of those times, I found myself wishing I could turn back the hands of time…to start over. I believe those times have occurred in all of our lives. Some have made the wrong career choices and wish they could go back to school to be retrained, but now they must support a family. Some have made a bad business deal and now they are financially ruined.

How they wish they could go back.

A girl finds herself in trouble and her heart is broken. How she wishes she could go back and start over, but it’s too late. A failed marriage disrupts family life and deeply wounds everyone involved. If only we could begin again. These kinds of events occur every day and no one is exempt from them. Think of the things in your life that you would like a chance to change. How sometimes we would desperately like a do-over.

Some people relive the past and recount it in great detail in their mind. All the negative emotions that they felt back then, they feel again. Replaying regret steals our joy as we battle with ourselves emotionally for events that are gone forever. Some individuals simply surrender to the past. They decide that they will never rise above the past and resign themselves to be what the past has made them. Others defy the past and refuse to be
dominated by it. They recognize that while the past is unchangeable, they can do something to change how they deal with their memories.. There are basically three things you must do to conquer your past.

1)Realize the past for what it is…the past. It is over, done,
gone, finished, ended, passed. You can’t change what
happened back then.

2)Realize in constantly remembering and wallowing in the past.
you will always feel discouraged and defeated.This is stealing your
joy. God’s desire is for us is to enjoy life!

3)Recognize what you can do about the past. While you can’t change
what happened, you can change the way you respond to your memories
of the past.

Choose life and the God-given opportunity to begin life anew! Don’t choose to live in the bondage of your past mistakes, failures and shortcomings. I encourage you to choose life!

Go out there and forget midnight and look to the sunrise! Today is a beautiful fresh new day!
